BRIEF HISTORY ABOUT US
The Ministry was created in July, 2007 with statutory responsibilities for the provision of potable water and sanitation as well as integrated rural development through the execution of rural roads and electrification projects statewide, and these by the grace of God are being achieved to a great extent.
The Ministry’s goals which are essentially to contribute towards the realization of the vision of His Excellency, Otunba Gbenga Daniel to transform Ogun State into an economically viable state through the provision of relevant infrastructure, include the following;

WATER AND SANITATION: To reduce by 50%, the number of people without access to safe drinking water and sustainable sanitation in line with one of the targets of the Millennium Development Goals.
POWER: A strategic initiative for adequate generation and distribution of power which includes procurement and installations of transformers and generators.
- RURAL ROADS INFRASTRUCTURAL DEVELOPMENT: To provide access roads for cheaper and more convenient movement of people and farm produce to market centers, and also rural area drainage / culvert construction
