The Ogun State Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment is intensifying efforts to ensure the State improves on its Ease of Doing Business ranking when the World Bank Survey holds later in the year.

Commissioner for Industry, Trade and Investment, Mrs. Kikelomo Longe made this known while speaking with newsmen in her Office.
She said the State government has been implementing various guidelines on the Ease of Doing Business as stipulated by the World Bank, noting that it had set up different technical working groups on improving the Ease of Doing Business that have been addressing challenges hindering entrepreneurs from starting a business and other issues like registering of properties, payment of taxes, and enforcement of contracts.

Mrs. Longe added that the Ministry would commence the automation of Business Premises Permit and Registration payments to make it easier for businesses operating in the State.
